This is one of the best products I've treated myself to. Before I purchased this portable DVD player I had to be sure that it played DVDs and CDs that I've burned myself. I make a lot of DVDs with family pictures and music, and it plays all of them. It also plays CDs that I've burned myself. The size of the 7 inch widescreen is just fine. There are setup controls to change the aspect ratio as needed. You can have a widescreen or have a perfectly square screen with black bars on the sides. It comes with a plug which will charge up the player so you can use it without a plug and "go portable". I particularly enjoy this player for the times when I am watching my sleeping son, but want to relax on the couch and enjoy a DVD without making noise. I plug in my headphones and am quietly entertained. Included with the player are the following accessories: Plug (for just using it plugged in, and simultaenously charging it up for portable use), car adaptor, remote and audio/video cable for hooking it up to watch it on your regular television. I have a combo VCR/DVD player, but the DVD part is broken. There are jacks in the front of the VCR for the yellow, white and red plugs. So, I hooked up the included cable from the JWIN portable DVD player to the jacks on my VCR and I was able to view my DVD on the television again-it was great! The price tag on this item was $99 but it happened to be on sale at CH Martin for $79.99, so I grabbed it. I think for the features and accessories and wonderful picture and sound, it was a great value. I highly recommend it. It fits beautifully in the Targus Portable DVD bag for up to 10 inch DVD players. I can fit all the accessories plus my headphones in the bag.
