Audio-Technica offers its ATR35s omnidirectional high-quality condenser in a miniature lavalier microphone. It is ideal for aerobics, dance or sports instructors. Also it is great for video use, this "newscaster-style" microphone is practically invisible. It has an integrated 20' cable terminated with a 3.5 mm mini-plug for use with most cameras and home recording systems. Its on/off switch provides convenient operation. I recently recorded a seminar in a house of worship with this - ie lots of background noise, etc, and this mic worked beautifully. to most people there might not even be a discernible difference between this and a more expensive and higher quality mic. br / br /for the price class its in it is AMAZING. i dont think u can do better for anything under 50 bucks.

I've had it in storage for pretty much 6 months. I recently wanted to record some video with a lavalier mic, and this is what I get. I've tried several different batteries and have attempted plugging the mic into a recorder instead of having it plugged into the camera. As you might guess, the quality doesn't get any better. I'm in the midst of scrambling to find a new mic now. Thanks for nothing Audio-Technica.

I purchased the Audio-Technica ATR-35S Lavalier Microphone a few weeks ago. I used it with two different camcorders and it worked fine with both. Sound quality is excellent for such an inexpensive item. Just what I needed to improve the quality of my online video demo's. Much more professional than using the camcorder mic itself. The included power supply makes it vastly superior to mics without power. br / br /Definately worth the money.

I have used this mic on shoots for my web video program. It's worked well for me, and the slightly extra length helps when doing stand-ups and shots that require movement. And- the price was certainly right!

I ordered this microphone for the purpose of recording oral history stories in connection with a camcorder. Previous reviews encouraged my purchase, and in testing I'm pleased with the microphone.
