Buy.com had it for 599.99 and Amazon matched their price I just prefer buying fom amazon. br /The Tv is nice, The picture amazing, clear with nice color. br /I would recommend this unit to anyone.

Fair warning to anyone thinking about buying Toshiba. If you are investing in LCD and expect to have the TV more than a year Toshiba is REALLY a bad buy. I purchased a Regza 32HL66 in October, 2006. The set was manufactured in July 2006. I bought it sight unseen because I had always had such great product from Toshiba. In April of this year I noticed a slight gray strip near the top of the screen. Now I have three nice deep gray stripes of running half the way down the screen!! I talked to Toshiba and they said I should have bought an extended warranty. That's ALL they said! No apologies or you must have gotten a bad set, etc.! Well at lest I do know I should have boguht the extended warranty but it's too late for that. In my opinion, when the company got involved in HD DVD their quality went to hell. So all I'm saying is buyer beware.

This is the Best Picture I have ever seen on a 32" Flat Screen. It comes with alot of stuff I dont' know how to use any of the inputs but Picture is Great and Sound is extremely good right out of the box not hooked up to anything other than the cable. br / br /I am very pleased with my purchase. The going $879.00 is well worth it for this TV. I was going to go cheap in the $550 range but decided to upgrade and Am I ever Glad I did.

I've owned this set for several weeks now and am very impressed by the overall picture quality. The images are sharp, the blacks are reasonably deep, the colors are well balanced, and there is no backlight bleeding. I recommend turning down the backlight to 50 or less (mine is at 40) to get the best picture. Sound quality is only mediocre but I use mine with a 5.1 surround system, so that is not a problem for me. I don't know how this set compares to Sony or Samsung because those sets will not fit in my cabinet, the Toshiba does - which is another plus for people with tight spaces. BTW, the dimensions given on the US web site for the set are incorrect - they slightly overstate the actual dimensions. Go to the Canadian website for the correct dimensions if this is critical to you. Also the owner's manual is available through the Canadian website.
