I have had my Kindle for a little over a month and I have to say I am not disappointed in any way. It is really easy to use and since I am an avid reader I use it daily. I have experienced no eye strain and that was a concern since I am on the computer for 10 hours a day at work. The books down load from Amazon in seconds. I also like that I can read the first chapter free before buying it. br / br /I would only recommend this to people that buy a lot of books. You will not find all the books you want in Kindle form yet and the cost is not that much cheaper if you are used to buying paperbacks. So to make this a feasible alternative to the books themselves you would have to be an avid reader. I love mine and have no regrets that I purchased mine. br / br /I use the internet connection to brows my email on the way to work in the morning and it saves time later. Even thought it is a limited connection it is good enough for look-ups and skimming your email. br / br /So if you are an avid reader that loves new gadgets then my advice is go get yourself a Kindle and enjoy! br /

I can't say enough good things about my Kindle. I love it and use it EVERY DAY!! 5 stars for the ease of use and I hope they keep the extra features such as web browse, music, etc. Thanks to Oprah for the extra discount following her recommendation on a recent episode.

Getting familiar with my kindle has been easy. I have only had one snag. My elderly parents were looking forward to seeing and tryiny it out but when I arrived on T'giving day the battery had gone dead. I had not used it in about one week and thought all was well. Apparently the battery can run down when not in use. No, I had not left it on. I also wish that the case for it would attach more positively. I don't trust it to stay in place and am paraniod about dropping it. I love the ease of use and convenience of downloading a book and especially the ability to read a sample before purchase.

Love my Kindle. I love to read and I have RA. Sometimes holding a book and turning pages, is really a big deal. But with my Kindle, it is so easy. Even when thumbs are really bad I prop kindle up and just turn pages with finger.. br /BBH Tampa

I love my Kindle, I feel like I have all the books I could want at my disposal. I have really enjoyed not having to turn pages of a heavy book. It is lightweight and feels like I'm reading from a paperback book. I do wish it had a backlight for nighttime reading or airplane reading. I would also like to see a little more thumb room without accidently turning pages and I wish my cover fit on more securely when opened and in use. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
