Purchased for the very occasional viewing of DVD's - and for playing Jeopardy which we received as a gift. br /Unit works well, although we had problems with the open/close button on the machine. Amazon was quick to replace it with another. br /So far, the replaced player is working very nicely. Especially like how compact it is! br /For the price, it's an excellent choice for our needs. br /Would have rated it 5 stars had we not had the problem with the initial machine.

This plays things like DVDs and it doesn't cost much. If you don't purchase this item, I'm going home to mother.

This GPX D1816SIL DVD Player with remote has BOTH great picture and sound and it's light and compact!!! And it's very affordable!!! Great for those who have kids and want a reliable but not expensive DVD player!!! My whole family enjoys it!!! Very recommended!!! Two thumbs up!!! Five stars A+
