I was pleased with this product until stopped working 3 weeks after I bought it. Of course, the seller only guarantees it for 10 days and only if you keep the original packaging. The seller offered to take the product back and replace it for me only if I promised to take down my negative review and only if I had the original packaging. They claimed they could not send it to audiovox without the original packaging but meanwhile audiovox assured me that I could send it to them with no problem in another box. That is ridiculous and I advise everyone to not buy this product or anything from this vendor. I had to pay more money to send it back to audiovox and who knows if they will fix it or what. This has been a huge hassle and I am never buying from an amazon vendor again.

I bought this for my daughter so she could play DVD's for my grandson who is stuck in his seat looking backwards and who gets very tired of seeing nobody and being strapped in a car seat like a crash dummy. I figured it would work to entertain him while my daughter drove him around to wherever. br / br /I knew that it was refurbished, but I have bought refurbished before on line and that usually means somebody changed their minds and sent it back for no real good reason, and I have been very successful at finding decent stuff this way and not paying full retail for it. br / br /This DVD came poorly packaged with no bubble wrap to protect it. Got lucky tho and it was packaged well enough to survive the trip. However it came with NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL, AND THE CASE WAS SCRATCHED UP SO IT WAS WELL USED, OF THIS I AM SURE. So all the talk of being "factory" refurbished was not actual. So far it has worked fine, tho the sound doesn't appear to be very loud. I am sure the head phones will be sufficient for most people who are not trying to entertain a 11 month old while in a car seat. Now if I can only figure out what all these buttons and switchs are for....maybe Audiovox has a website to download a manual...I will just have to search around and see. For $150, It should have been included in the package. I bought from a company called: Tech for Less LLC, thru amazon.... br /1610 Garden of the Gods, Suite 100 br /Colorado Springs, CO 80907 br /And for crying out loud, put some bubble wrap around this fragile electronics when it gets shipped...fire the shipping clerks who are too stupid to do it right.

I watch the majority of my shows on this TV screen. I love it because it's portable. We watch movies on the big screen, but my DVD's of cooking with Julia Child, and sitcoms are most enjoyable on my Audiovox. It has added pleasure to my everyday life and so it's worth the price. If my unit breaks I'm ordering another like it.

You will hear nothing but raves for this product from our house. It has an excellent picture, great sound ... it's easy to use and is certainly a superior piece of technology. (The zoom feature is a real plus.) Would recommend the Audiovox D2016 10" Hi-Fi Slim Line Portable DVD Player to anyone ... and it's at a great price too.

I bought this DVD player for an upcoming flight. I also use it for my toddler at restaurants. Wow! Phenomenol picture great sound! I was so impressed with this unit that cost much le$$ than other brands. We love it so much we are purchasing another (on our flight my toddler was captivated, he watched all his "Diego" "Dora" shows, he was an angel on the plane thanks to this baby! I watched a movie on another flight with my new JVC noise-canceling headpkones (another great buy reasonable price) With these headphones DVD player, I almost forgot I was on a plane. I cound not hear the droning of the engine it was like I was in my own private movie theatre. JVC HANC80 Folding Noise Cancelling Headphone Also, the case I got that fits perfectly was. Case Logic DVS9 DVD Player Shuttle for 10-inch DVD Players Perfect fit, holds some DVD's, great for travel. So I would highly recommend this DVD player, slim line design made it great to fit in my cary on bag kept under my seat on the plane.
