I bought this product a few years ago and it finally gave out on me. I was overall pretty satisfied with it and now that it has finally died (due to wear at the headphone connection site) I am in the market for another. Strangely, this one from years ago, still seems to be the best choice. I may just invest again (not to mention it's about $100 cheaper now). Here is what I found in my years of use: br / br /Pros: br / br /-Price! Wow, I paid way more for this two years ago, and I was satisfied then. br /-Easy to attach, I just clipped the back onto my bathingsuit straps or the back of my suit, over my bum. I suppose the clip would work well with an arm band, but I didn't have one. br /-Sound was pretty good. Naturally, the deeper you go, the softer it gets, but for an underwater player, the sound was quite acceptable. br /-Easy USB attachment to the computer, just drag and drop files like any portable hard drive or disk. br /-Held a charge fairly well. The LED screen was nice because it would keep you updated on your battery life. I never had trouble with the battery itself. br /-Good size little piece with buttons that were easy to find and use without looking. With a good playlist inside, it was practically maintenance-free. br / br /Cons: br / br /-Headphones are not interchangeable, what you get is the only option and if you should lose the flimsy part or trim the buds down too far, the company is stingy about replacement parts. br /-You need to keep a quarter in the pouch with the player so you can unscrew the airtight seal. br /-The headphones just don't stay in. I couldn't really use this for racing and would lose them every time I kicked off the wall. However, they stayed put for synchro drills and exercises nicely. It's more of a leisure player. br /-Finally, like I said, it died on me because the wiggly site where the headphones attach to the base just gets worn down. It is plastic that is repeatedly subjected to chemicals after all. It may not be the best design, but it seems that every model has this issue. Really, my heart just broke when this happened.
