Excellent Product for everything but the brightness January 6, 2009

This product has so many good features... multiple alarms, displaying all the time - you can always see which alarm is set and for which time. It snoozes for 10 minutes and clicking snooze multiple times will add up the minutes, so you can snooze for an hour if you wanted (which may be a bad or good feature...).
The only complaint is that it's extremely bright. It has a setting, but even on low, I have to cover it with something so it doesn't light up half the room. I haven't tampered with it much to see if there's another setting somewhere... that would make it 5 stars.

I am from Australia, and didn't buy this clock from Amazon as they don't ship electronics internationally. However, I wanted to post a review since I had real concerns that this alarm clock might not work in Australia (240v 60hz country), but can now reassure anyone else in the same situation.
I'm pleased to say that with an inexpensive voltage converter I have had no problems at all getting the clock running correctly. I had also read that there was a potential problem with clocks running fast on the 60hz current here, but it's also absolutely fine.
Similarly, while clock is set to US time zones, and none of the 'canned' time zones are correct for Australia, it was extremely easy to manually change the default time.
I bought this clock after searching the net for weekend friendly alarm clocks, and amazingly there don't seem to be any in Australia. I'm pleased to say that the possibly foolhardy purchase of a 'foreign' clock (without being aware at the time of the complexity of the possible power supply problems) has turned out well. Recommended.

This is a great clock!! It has 2 alarms and even if you lose power overnight, as long as the power is back on when your alarm is suppose to go off it will. The clock automatically adjusts to the right time and the alarm setting stays set. Very nice clock! I own 2 of them.

I've had the old sony's dream machine for over 15 years until the music alarm got messed up. This one is even better, with easy to read numbers and buttons. I know I can always count on Sony for producing smart products.

I like the Sony clock radio. Really liked the dual alarms and the controls. However the display leaves something to be desired . It is hard to read the time unless you are looking straight at it and even on the dim setting it is so bright it casts shadows on the wall .
