I bought the Memorex MMP8564 Digital Player based on price, and because I like these little AAA battery flash card players. I recommend downloading the user manual before you buy.
PROS: Price, FM Radio, folder navigation, case has alot of rubberized plastic, sound is very good. The SD Card slot, usb port, and battery compartment are completely enlosed, a great idea, but does draw a con.
CONS: Will not play SD Cards above 2GB, or SDHC Cards. Because the card slot and battery compartment are completely sealed with the cover, the earphones will have to be inserted and removed constantly, which may prematurely wear out the port. The SD Card sits really deep in the slot. I install and remove cards using the edge of another card.
Unless you tag your songs with the number of the track in the song title, it will play alphbeticaly.
SUMMARY: This PAD does have it's quirks, which rates 3 stars. The 4th star is for the FM radio. To reduce the earphone issue, I encode with Lame 3.98 vbr q6 to squeeze as much as possible on a 2GB card. Also use a high quality AAA rechargeable battery like Sanyo or Duracell 1000 mAH NiHM's. I also recommend using a card reader for file transfer.
For the $ this is an excellent PAD to take if you are going camping etc. I do not recommend it for every day use. If the earphone port was located seperately from the cover, I would give this 5 stars.
As per my experience, WIZODIRECT is the way to go. Very fair price and super quick shipping.

Eats batteries like crazy. The shuffle just plays the same songs over and over.in the same order. When you start it, it often starts with the same song. Turning off shuffle doesn't help. In normal mode it will play the songs you heard on shuffle and when done it will start playing the songs in alphabetical order. Nice arm band and button design. Bad design for installing battery and SD cards. Have to take the top off every time for both. Battery has a sliding lock bar which is a pain to get in position. Expected a lot more from Memorex. Sonds good. Very slow to interface with computer compared to RCA and Zen models I have tried.
