It plays MP3s. January 4, 2009 Josh Poage (Austin, TX) This is not a bad mp3 player. It's small, it takes a single AAA battery, and it plays MP3s. THe single huge drawback that I've found, is that you can't do an album-level (as defined by directories containing MP3s, or by tags) search (at least not that I've discovered). Everything is at the file level. This might be ok for a CD with 10 tracks, but when you put two audiobooks on here with 200-odd files each, getting to the beginning of the second audiobook is an exercise in frustration. Also, it doesn't always seem to play the files in order.
Works Fine! December 19, 2008 ACE-W (Missouri) I think for the price this is a good product. It is easy to use and works fine for me. For this price and 2gb you can't go work in my opinion!
Very small & light - perfect for my needs! December 19, 2008 MagicSkip (Marriottsville, MD) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Here's what I wanted: SMALL and LIGHT, with good capacity, long battery life, inexpensive, and EASY to use (in my way). I love this thing! It is tiny & weightless. I've got 200+ songs on it with room for more. One AAA seems to last forever. It costs less than the other brands. I keep it in shuffle mode, so I just push the button: once for "on", once for "music", once for "play", and I'm rocking! I don't use the FM tuner, voice recorder, or use it as a flash drive, so I can't address those functions. For me - it is great! The one drawback is that the earbuds that came with it were mediocre. I replaced those, and now I have no complaints!

not bad, good value December 12, 2008 Brian J. Davis i like the fm tuner and it works well, although it eats up batteries. i would suggest investing in rechargeable aaa batteries for this product.
