 Don't expect to get the stations you want January 8, 2009

The most frustrating thing I've ever purchased! I bought this to listen to AM & FM stations while at work, seeing as how most companies, including mine, does not allow internet streaming. I only get one AM station and it is full of static. FM is not any better! I am in the heart of the downtown and expect to get good reception. Also, the volume is not reasonable. The lowest setting is still loud! The funny thing is I read a good review on this product and decuded to make my purchase...I clearly did not do enough research. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!

I made the mistake of ordering this piece of garbage hoping it could pick up my local AM and FM stations. The first time I used the product the wire for the earbuds came disconnected from the plug to the radio. But the real kicker is that the radio could not pick up any stations without at least a little bit of static. Most local stations came in with too much static to be able to listen to for very long. I would not recommend anyone buy this product no matter how low the price is.

I like this particular radio because it makes changing stations easy. Just program them in and you are ready to go. One drawback is that it eats through batteries.

My kids watch DVD while I take them to school so I needed my own radio I can listen to but it does not have a good recption when I am in the car. However during day it has a good reception and at night it's ok. overall I like it.
