Nice Little Recorder December 17, 2008 RRP (Monroeville, NJ) Great Little Recorder for the most part. Have had some trouble with error messages stating "bad file format" without any further explanation. When this message appears, you can listen to the recording on the tape player, but can not transfer it to your computer. As far as I have been able to see, there is no information on this problem available.

This is an easy to use voice recorder, but if you're looking for quality, go with an Olympus. The sound quality of the playback is horrible, both on the player itself and the computer. Hoever, if you need a recorder just for grocery lists or lectures, this will do.
This is not a bad unit at all October 29, 2008 Patrick Carr (seattle, wa) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have to say I like this product. the manual is well written and easy to follow. it's operation is simple to use. the only drawback is the short pause before it can start taking your voice. The PC link is fast and the software works well. It's a good inexpensive unit for light note taking

I bought this for the MP3 encoding, as stated in the product description. It does NOT have MP3 encoding.
Too slow on rew and ff October 3, 2008 Patrick Boyne (Tulsa,Ok) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I liked the price and the size. Easy to use but when it came time to listen to the lecture I got frustrated at the ability to rew and ff. The unit was too slow and if I hit the rew twice the unit erased where I was at and started from the beggining...ARRGH. Sounds good and has great pc download speed which is what I had to do to get my lecture in a place to use for my needs. Price good for what it delivers but could be the ultimate if the speeds were more flexible. 1x 2x 10x.
