Don't buy this product !!!
I have seen three of these already with read issues. Copy files onto the drive and suddenly the system does not see them. I have contacted the compnay for support and they have not responded. There is a firmware update for FAT 32 on the website but it will not install. I have ask for assistance on that too with no response. This is the biggest piece of junk I have ever purchased. I am trying to return the product but I can get no answer on it. Do not buy this or any other product from Masscool/Fanner Tech. If you have any problems they will not back their products.

I purchased this item and have been using it for over a week now and I have to say it is awesome. If you have a lot of video on your computer/laptop and want to watch it over your t.v. this item is a must. You can hook it up to your computer, load it with all of your movies, music, pictures, etc. and play it through your t.v. or sound system. It plays all major formats of video. Audio is a bit limited, it only plays mp3 or WMA. The interface is really easy to use for video. I wouldnt recommend this product for music though. It has no shuffle feater and only plays files the way you have them set up on your computer. I have been playing all of my once computer only movies through this on my t.v. and its been great. you get a lot for the price. you get a 750 gb hard drive and the capability to take any and all of your digital media anywhere you want. going to a hotel? no prob. just hook it up to their t.v. and you got your whole library at the touch of a button. I got this product because i download a lot of older t.v. shows that you cant get anywhere. With this item, I dont have to be glued to my computer to watch them. I can watch them on my big screen in the comfort of my living room.
