With DarkChip3 DLP technology from Texas Instruments, the H57 delivers 1,100 lumens of brightness and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio to provide bright, vibrant images no matter what your viewing environment. A 1,024 x 576 native resolution (1,600 x 1,200 compatible) provides a crisp display image, and you can switch between 16:9 (native), 5:4, and 4:3 aspect ratios depending upon your viewing needs. Front, rear, ceiling, and table-top projection methods are supported, while a 4.9 to 32.8-foot projection distance allows you to project an image anywhere from 29.5 to 246 inches (diagonal) in size. A wide variety of video formats are supported, including NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and HDTV, and inputs for digital DVI, VGA analog, RS-232, S-video, and composite video allow you to project images from virtually any source, including both PC and Macintosh computers. The wireless remote control allows you to adjust the projector's settings from anywhere in the room, and the easy-to-navigate menus let you choose from one of 12 menu languages.
