5 out of 5 stars Optoma EP7155 DLP Projector   December 17, 2008
Frank Dee (Ozarks)
This was bought as a gift. It will be used often for presentations. The recipient is using it very frequently and is very impressed with the quality of the picture and the small size. He travels around the world a lot so the small size and light weight is most welcome.

I brought this project through AMAZON. No doubt it is a good projector - very small and have sharp picture. But, when the fan kicks into high gear, it is unbearable. People is unable to hear my voice during the presentation. Therefore I return the projector. Unfortunately I have to pay 15% restocking fee. It will be a good product if Optoma can make some minor change in this respect.

4 out of 5 stars Great Projector   August 26, 2008

I was totally impressed with the brightness and quality of this LCD projector. It works great even in a fully lit room.

5 out of 5 stars Compact, lightweight, easy to use   July 5, 2008
Richard Conviser (Missoula, MT)
I'd always wanted a projector, and I'm glad I got this one. It was easy to set up and attach to my laptop computer, and it projects good quality photos and videos. The case that comes with it is handy for storing and moving the projector and its accessories.

4 out of 5 stars Nice but-   May 21, 2008

The projector is nice. It is very small and projects a nice picture, but, it has a fan that kicks into high gear and the noise is noticable since it is not running all the time. I think the noise factor de-values the projector. I have an epson 77c that has no noticable fan noise and projects a picture of almost the same quality. We placed the two projectors side by side and used a dual imput to both projectors. Even though the optoma has more lumens and a higher contrast ratio , it was hard to determine the optoma picture as having any superior quality. I bought the Optoma projecter on-line and have no choice but to like it, but---if I could have done the same comparisson test prior to purchase--I would opt for another projector.
