NOT BAD January 8, 2009 Michael Merced (chicago, usa) Its good, it gives you a bass sound, but it doesnt work that well in a suv, it works better in any other car.
Infinity Basslink sub system December 17, 2008 Yuhwan Hong This is a very nice addition to a small car system. I have an infinity component tweeter/mid system in my 2008 jetta. Total of 4 tweeters, 4 mids and 2 biaxials powered by a nice size amp. needed to fill the low end but my days of a pointlessly 'booming' system are over. Needed just enough to fill in the gap left by the component speakers. Based on prior reviews, seemed like this is just what I needed. and it is. It has enough punch to make the entire car sound GREAT! It won't shake your windows and you won't hear it coming down the street but if you want a low end add on for your car and you're after sound quality, not volume, then this is it. I would definitely buy this again. Actually thinking about getting another for my Tacoma. I currently have a Kicker solo baric in it now from back when I was after max bass but it's a bit bulky. This would still give me all the bass I need and free up some space.
quality sound October 21, 2008 Roger M. Lengyel (st. louis, MO USA) I have a mid-sized SUV and it is also a new car. The factory stereo sytem in the car was plenty loud but didnt bring the quality bass level i was looking for. I was able to install this system in about 3-4 hours and you can wire it into your existing factory head unit. It delivers ample bass and isn't too loud where the whole neighborhood knows you have it.(I live in St. Louis and people are always jackin' stereo systems) I only run it at about 50% power but thats about where it peaks out. So all-in-all A good system, good price, and easy install.
Wow! September 14, 2008 Timothy S. Callahan (Jackson, NJ USA) This powered subwoofer sounds incredible for what it costs. It's well worth the money paid. High quality materials used in it's construction. The installation/setup instructions are clear and easy to understand as long as you have some background in electricity/wiring. The included remote for bass level makes it an even better product. This lets you adjust the bass level from the drivers seat. I usually decrease the bass level for FM radio listening as opposed to CD's. Please remember to purchase a Amplifier wiring kit also. You will need it to wire the subwoofer to your stereo and battery.
Adds Deep Bass To Any Setup September 10, 2008 Lee I have four 5 1/4 Infinity speakers in my car and before I installed the Basslink there was little to no bass. The unit throws out PLENTY of bass. I listen to all kinds of music and the Basslink enhances the sound of everything from hip-hop to jazz. The 200-watts might throw you off but it is enough power to blast your stereo at full volume without distortion of low end sound. This unit definitely packs a punch and is well worth the money. You can read as many reviews as you want but you simply must hear the Basslink to believe it.
