The video output DOES NOT work with iPod touch. The audio works fine, but I tried this with 2 HDTV's and a regular old TV and it didn't work on any of them. After a bottle of wine and a lot of colorful words I gave up - now I'm trying to find another one that actually works.

This is a must for those who use their Ipod with anything but the ear buds. I compared the 1/8" headphone output to the RCA line output and really noticed a difference. It's cleaner, you get better frequency range, and the stereo spread is even wider. Plus you can watch movies, music videos, and pics on your TV. I use it to plug my IPod into a mixing console at work for background music (live sound). It completely bypasses the headphone amp.
It does NOT work with iTouch or new Nano February 9, 2008

I apologize with other customers who posted, I should have paid more atention to reviews. I turned on the TV output on the iPods but this cable does NOT work with iPod iTouch nor the new Nano.
