The KX-TG9334T DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone assures greater protection against eavesdropping for all your calls. DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology lets you move freely around your home with long range and amazingly clear sound. Operating in the 1.9GHz frequency range, your phone will not conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, microwave ovens and other common household devices. Now you can program each handset to ring at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to Night Mode so that it won't ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who's sleeping. Now you don't have to be holding the phone to see who's calling. Using text-to-speech technology, the Caller ID2 information is announced between rings. The KX-TG9334T also boast a talking alarm clock that will tell you when it's time for lunch, and a talking battery alert that politely tells you when your battery is low with a Please Charge Phone reminder. Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phone's Call Block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls. After the information is stored, your unwanted callers will receive a busy signal when they call you again. The Light-Up Indicator with Ringer Alert at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. Overall a great phone system January 8, 2009

There are alot of reviews already out here for this phone system and so I won't waste your time with a super detailed one. I should also add: this phone has many features we aren't using. Specifically we don't use the "phonebook" feature, we don't make each handset ring a different melody, and we don't assign ringers to certain numbers and although I read you can block annoying callers - I have no idea how to do it. Here's what I can tell you:
I love the talking Caller ID feature. It announces the caller on the third ring. Someone complained about the announcement sounding like a boxy computer. That's true. I couldn't care less. Even if it doesn't know how to pronounce every name perfectly I can still tell exactly who it is and whether or not I want to answer it.
I also love that you can check your answering machine messages from any of the handsets - no need to go to the base. And every handset lets you know if there are messages waiting.
The only cons I can see is that it does take a half a second or so once you answer the phone to be able to talk so occasionally I'll say hello twice and it's a little complicated to check your messages from the handset but all in all I thought it was a great price (around $95 for all four handsets) and I love the fact that you can drop any handset into any base. This is absolutely critical for my family! I'd definitely recommend this product unless you are someone that uses absolutely every top of the line feature on your phone.

This product is great, I really like the option the phone announces who is calling via CID. I also like that it uses standard rechargeable batteries, that's one of the reasons I got rid of my previous Panasonic cordless phones, the replacement batteries cost more than the new phones. Great features, still have not gotten to all of them yet, Very Pleased !!

As is typical to many cordless phone products, our prior set had battery issues and replacement batteries did not seem to universally work, so we were forced to look for a new set. I was impressed with the reviews of this model and the features were appealing. What's great? Well, there are 4 sets, they can conference with each other, has speakerphone, and a headset jack which is important for my use. The speaking caller ID is usually helpful, and there are additional features which we have yet to set up such as the night mode where it won't ring in the middle of the night.
Here is my biggest complaint and I don't know if it's system wide or just my particular set. Frequently one or more of the handsets says it is not linked to the based to be able to answer an incoming call or dial out. If you use the handset for a longer call, it seems more apt to be unavailable for retrieving or making the next call without first setting it in the cradle for a moment to "reset" and link the handset to the base again. With 6 in our family, and phones often drifted away from the base, this can become a big inconvenience. If you are considering this phone you may want to look into this concern further before purchasing as it would be a reason that I would hesitate in the future.
All other areas we have been very pleased. Call sound and quality and ability to talk while appliances (like the microwave) are running is good.
