The Aquos LC-15B2UB is less than 3 inches deep and offers a 15-inch screen (diagonally measured). It has Sharp's proprietary Advanced Super View LCD panel, giving it a higher contrast ratio and wider viewing angles than was previously possible. Aquos monitors are characterized by bright, precise picture quality, a sleek design, a bright picture, and Sharp's Black TFT technology. Because it has one of the brightest available monitors, you can put the TV set anywhere--even near windows, doors, and other light sources--and its picture will remain vivid. With its 60,000-hour lamp life, Sharp's LCD backlight will give you viewing pleasure for many years. The 15-inch ASV panel is Sharp's proprietary design. The Black TFT-enhanced screen combines an antiglare treatment with a low-reflection coating to ensure brighter pictures and more vivid colors than you'd get from conventional LCD displays under similar conditions. The monitor is compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video formats. A built-in 181-channel tuner lets you plug cable TV right into the LC-15B2U and start watching. Two speakers frame the unit on either side for stereo sound. An onboard image inverter steps in to flip the image upside-down if you need to hang the TV in an unconventional manner. The 160-by-160-degree viewing angles are so wide that you can watch the monitor from anywhere in the room. The included carry handle-table stand is the ultimate in convenience. Carry the monitor easily from room to room, or detach the one-piece stand for wall mounting. The monitor consumes 60 percent less power than do other comparably CRT direct-view televisions of comparable size.

We got this mainly for it's space-saving features, mostly to keep the TV out of our way. We don't have cable, and were worried the picture would not be so good. It is better than good, it is simply great! (but you do seem to need an external antenna.) I am amazed at how sleek it is!!! Highly recommend.

The Sharp 15 Inch Flat Screen TV is wonderful. I gave one to my husband last year for Christmas and it is the only TV (we have four TVs) watched on a daily bases. We have a large screen TV however it does not have clean, clear picture that the Sharp Flat screen TV has. Thanks Sharp and keep up the good work.

Hands down this is the best LCD screen is the best I have ever seen. It is totally high definition and is great for dvd's and video games.
It has a very vivid and bright picture it looks realy slick and is easy to hang on a wall.
