DX Antenna's DSA-20MA DIRECTV multisatellite dish antenna is designed for use with up to 4 independently operating DIRECTV Receivers, providing not only reception for local stations but for DIRECTV's PARA TODOS Spanish-language programming and even high-definition broadcasts. A suitable antenna site requires an unobstructed view of the southern sky, a stable antenna mounting surface, a distance of 100 feet or less for RG 6 (RF coaxial) cable from your antenna to your receiver, and nearby grounding.P The dish comes with a detailed user's manual and installation guide including important safety precautions. Due to the many configurations possible, mast-mounting hardware is not included.P For installations where the RG 6 cable runs from the receiver(s) to the LNB exceeds 100 feet (say, 150 feet or more, as encountered in a commercial or multi-dwelling building), you'll need to use an AC power-booster module to bias the LNB. You will also need an additional RF signal amplifier to compensate the signal loss to avoid frequent outages in adverse weather. We recently got DirecTV after seeing their ad blitz for 75 HD channels. They brag about their "digital picture and sound," and their great customer service. br /The truth is the only way to get digital picture and sound is with a HDTV and an HDMI. Their picture is actually worse than the picture we got with Comcast. Not to mention there is no two year agreement with cable, no picture loss when it rains, you do not have to pay for "leased equipment, and you do not need an ugly dish hanging on your house. br /When we purchased our most recent HDTV, we figured we would replace the DVR we had with DirecTV and get an HD DVR to replace it. br /DirecTV told us we would have to pay $299 for the privlige of leasing their receiver from them. In addition to this we would have to pay $50 because we were a new customer "and had not established a credit history with them." Also, we would have to pay $20 for shipping and handling and extend our contract for another two years. br /Maybe DirecTV thinks it is in the cellphone business because all they want to do is lock you into long-term contracts and make you bleed money to them forever. Their symbol should be a ball and chain because that is what they really are. Cable here I come!

I had to buy a replacement online, because there no longer sold in stores alone. br / br /Has 3 LNB for reception of Local Channels and HDTV channels along with everything else. br / br /Good all around, built in bubble level so you know the mast is positioned perfectly. Easy setup and use. br / br /Got everything you would want if your a directv customer.

br /this antenna works perfectly after set up. the assembly process is very simple. one thing, when i received it, it appeared to have a small dent. nothing huge, but worth noting.

This is the same dish that Direct tv installs and it works great. Easy to put together and aim. I get a great signal from it. Amazon had the best price.

The new LNB arrived quickly and in good condition. Since our dish is on the ground and not far outside our family room patio door, it was easy to install and calibrate. We are now thoroughly enjoying the luxury of two DirecTV signals and are TiVo-ing like mad to keep up with all the shows we like. We recommend this product, of course. br /BJDavis
