What more do you want? It does it all! November 28, 2008 Shayaan Faruqi (Piscataway, NJ USA) I gave this only four stars, because it's rather ugly -- it's a rectangular box that fits on your back, and as my wife as attested to -- it's not very flattering for me. br / br /That said, it is rectangles and square sides that give you the most room and waste the least amount of space. That is true in this case as well, where my mammoth 17" laptop fits with ease, and closing the zippers I know that if it gets dropped the ample padding around it will protect it from any harm. The cord is wrapped up neatly and put in a position that's perfect, velcroed in place so I can rip it out at any time. br / br /The quality of this backpack is superb -- I have no complaints with the type of zipper or quality of materials -- it's top notch. It holds ample amounts of items for your laptop, as well as pens, notebooks, etc... As a person that often takes his laptop as part of business trips, I found it necessary not to get a backpack that is too wildly colored and rather subdued, as well as get something utilitarian. This accomplishes everything, and while it's a little ugly, it is fine for a professional person not looking to make too wild an entrance with the camo green or hot pink laptop bags that accomodate 17" laptops. br / br /It's a great bag, and you won't be disappointed in buying it, so long as you know it's not the most fashionable thing.
Lowepro Tropolis - I love it!!! November 12, 2008 KMS (Virginia) This backpack for a widescreen laptop is amazing. I am so happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone. It is easy to carry yet as nice as a great piece of luggage.
Notebook Backpack November 2, 2008 Donna A. Comrie (Miami, FL) Delivery service was excellent. The bag was well crafted and had great compartments. But, I felt the bag was to big (it covered by entire back and below. I did return it about 3 weeks ago but the money has not been credited to my account (yet).
Great backpack October 6, 2008 Brock Just what I was looking for. Lots of pockets to keep things organized. Holds my laptop/charger + a few books and a small umbrella. The shape is a little boxy, but that allows for many things to be stored in such a compact space. Balances the weight on my back nicely.
problem solver October 3, 2008 R. Camp (TX) I'm very pleased with the Lowepro backpack. My HP9000 fits perfectly, with plenty of room for the coolpad, cords, mouse, etc. Laptop is easily accessible for removal at airport. I tried a messenger bag, but wrestling with the flap at security check was a pain. The backpack style leaves your hands free and the flat bottom allows it to stand on its own. Somewhat heavy, but that's mostly my fault for choosing a 17" laptop. I agree with the reviewer that said that it had a storm trooper appearance. It's durable and the function wins over form on this one.
