Product Description Nothing changes the way you see the world like High Definition , and no company does High Definition like Opteka. In the professional setting, Opteka's glass optics define High Definition. Change the way you view the world. Enjoy outstanding detail, enjoy enhanced clarity, enjoy Opteka. An Opteka filters can actually improve the image that your camera receives, and it's about the only accessory that can. By eliminating flare and ghosting, the ugly cousins of reflection and refraction, before they get to your camera's original lens system, your camera gets a much cleaner image. UV Filter - A must for any camera. Penetrates haze, adds warmth, and protects your valuable lens from scratches, dirt, fingerprints, etc. Leave it on your lens at all times. Polarizing Filter - For shooting in bright sun, at beaches, snow, ect. Controls bright light entering lenses for a better balanced color image. Darkens blue skies and reduces reflections from non-metallic surfaces. Fluorescent Filter - Reduces the greenish cast common to fluorescent lighting and produces pleasing, natural results, particularly in flesh tones.

Filter Kit August 4, 2008 Osvaldo I. Niida It's a good filter kit. But I think it's a little dificult to put in the camera
No clear effect on images October 21, 2007 A. Al-rawahi (Montana, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
there is no clear effect on pics more than protect the lens. It is not a good deal
Waste of money. June 19, 2007 MDS (Washington State) 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
These filters sort of do what they are expected but they are of such low quality that sharp pictures are largely out of the question. The lens and frame both have very low design standards, lack coatings that prevent reflection/fringe, and are threaded in a manner that can cause them to become stuck on an adapter. br / br /Spend the few extra bucks on a decent quality Hoya or BW polarizer/clear protection filter, they are worth every penny and the S3 can be set to compensate for most indoor lighting situations. br / br /HOYA 52MM CIR- POLARISING FILTER G br /Hoya 52mm DMC PRO1 Clear Protector Digital Filter

Very satisfied with this purchase. It works great with my CANON S2 IS. You get very nice pictures.
good but a little cumbersome January 8, 2007 J. Hunt (Thailand) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
Please note that this product is NOT from Canon. This is not a huge deal except that the attachment does not lock in place like the zoom lens or close up lens you can also purchase separately. Since it does not lock in place, it is possible (though unlikely) that the filter could twist and fall off. br /Most amateur photographers don't need these but for those who want the extra protection and some of the effects (especially the UV or Polarized), it is a nice addition.
