If the description of the Kindle had been more explicit, I would not have wasted the money on a second power adapter.

I find that companies that make proprietary chargers are creating waste at the expense of their secondary profit source. I have tried a small tip charger, as well as a generic usb connection in order to charge the device before investing in yet another charging device. br / br /It looks like the iGo is compatable as well as a knock off company sold on Amazon, but shame on Amazon for not building this feature into this $400 device. br / br /Onto having to spend money on yet another similar charger in order to read my books and keep adding to the pile of cords in my office.

The power supply that I ordered was the manufactures exact replacement for my Kindle and it arrived at my door on the day promised.
