noise reduction headphones August 28, 2008 Mary Terry (jackson. ms.) I have enjoyed my panasonic noise reduction headphones. I basically use them when traveling. I do hear some noise, however, I can get a better quality of music than on my old headphone. Mary, Jackson, MS.
Makes long flights much quieter August 28, 2008 Vortex Kid (Boston, MA USA) These were my first NC headphones and they work pretty well. Not sure how much "other" sound Bose block out but I bought these primarily for aircraft engine drone/noise and they worked well, even without music or movie being pumped through them. I agree with reviewers who said that they are a bit uncomfortable/hot after prolonged periods but what wouldn't be after 7 hours? All in all, for the price and versatility they're a good find.
I was not expectng these to work as good as the more expensive models but I was pleasantly surprised. I use them on the train! August 24, 2008 A. Redd These headphones sound great and feel comfortable. I only wish I would have bought them sooner. I would recomend these to a friend. Great buy for the price.
Above expectations August 20, 2008 Traveler 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was pleasantly surprised with these headphones. They are very comfortable and sound great (though I am not an expert). The noise canceling feature is easy to turn on and works better than expected with any kind of low frequency sound (air conditioner, airplane, etc). The headphones themselves (without noise canceling) do a good job at reducing higher pitch noises, like voices. The headphones come in a hard case that is very well made and have a detachable cord (which makes it easy to replace if you ever break it). The only very slight negative is that the richness of the sound suffers a bit when the noise canceling feature is on. All in all, I would definitely recommend these headphones.
Very effective, just not comfortable August 15, 2008 Zookoo (Bellevue, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased these headphones in preparation for an international plane trip, but returned them before I departed. However, I'm certain they would've been extremely effective. I turned these on while standing in my kitchen with the clothes washer, dryer and dishwasher all buzzing away and was amazed by the noise reduction. It really works as advertised. The headphones feel solidly built and are well-cushioned. Ultimately they were not comfortable - they pressed too hard against my jaw bone, giving me a mild headache. No amount of repositioning would help, which is a shame because I *really* wanted to keep these cans. I have a narrow, somewhat small head and a "sensitive" neck, so I attribute the pain to my biology rather than the headphones, hence the four stars. If these headphones are comfortable on you, they're a great buy.
