i like most people bought these because of the many good reviews of it. boy was i wrong. these speakers have even less power than my 4 year old laptop! i didnt think that was possible but it is. they also posses ZERO treble. all audio sounds muddy. i really dont understand how this product got such good reviews. people either mistakingly reviewed this or they are just plain deaf.

These speakers are impressive, especially for the price. When I received the package, the box was a lot smaller than I expected. These speakers are compact. I bought these speakers to replace dieing 2.1 speakers that came with an old Dell desktop 5 years ago. I plugged these babies in and WHAM. The sound is amazing compared to the old set. It is much fuller and packs a heavier punch. The volume control module is very convenient, although it could be heavier, as the wires pull it all over the place. br / br /Overall, worth the money. Hopefully these last me a while.

These speakers are a really great value. Low price and the sound quality is very good. The sub woofer also works great. Good for a dorm room where you can't turn the volume up super load... The speakers are great at low to mid sound range, but they do lack the punch for higher volume.

I am glad I purchased the S220 2.1 system to replace a set of older JBL speakers. The separate on/off switch w/volume control, which I have placed on my desk, is very handy. Well worth the money for an inexpensive set of speakers.
