Powered by the renowned MOSFET 50W x 4 amplifier, the DEH-2000MP will play almost all of your music collection, including MP3, WMA and WAV files. Or connect your music player directly via the front aux-in terminal. You also have the option of adding a hard-wired remote control adapter, which means that it can be integrated with your car's own steering wheel remote. You can also match the CD tuner to your car's interior: this CD tuner is also available with green button illumination or with green button illumination and a blue LCD screen. Just bought this unit, and so far I'm impressed with both the sound and the functionality for such a low price. I dock it one star for two reasons: 1. the ergonomics could be better--the buttons are very tiny and the main control buttons are too few for a quick intuitive grasp of their function, and 2. the manual is completely in error about how to set the clock, a basic mistake that does not inspire confidence in the product! A previous commenter outlined the process, but I found the explanation unclear. Here's a link to the Pioneer answer, which is very clear but buried underneath a pile of support pages.

Very good deal. I was looking for a not to expensive device with basic radio/cd mp3 player capabilities, without many fancy features. Well I received what I was expecting, plus a very powerful device. Installation was straight forward, sound is great, and is very ease to handle, specially with remote control. If you are loking for a good price/product relation, this is a good choice.

It is a good product for $80. However, I would recommend to pay a little more for a stereo with an Ipod controller or a USB port.
