Pros : Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Good Connection Options, Good color br / br /Cons : Image a little dark when viewed from above or below, Poor Sound, Limited Shadow Detail br / br /Best Uses : Home Gym or secondary TV set. br / br / br /I set this up in a home gym/guest room, for which it works perfectly. br /The Peerless stand, although design-flawed somewhat, works great to get br /the screen to a height that can be seen from the elliptical trainer and br /then can be re-adjusted to accommodate guests. It is the only stand of br /its type that I was able to find. br / br /I think the color was good right out of the box. The movie "Gladiator" br /looked deep, contrasty, and colorful just as it was intended to look, br /although the blacks don't have quite enough levels. Sometimes it's a br /little too dark in the shadows. But overall the colors are true and br /vibrant. br / br /It's nice that the TV automatically switches to the DVD player when you br /insert a DVD. This TV has excellent side-to-side viewing angles, but not br /so great when viewed from above or below, where it gets very dark. You br /must have this TV placed at eye-level to see the picture. br / br /Despite these minor drawbacks, I am happy with this set for my gym/guest br /room, and you can purchase without worry.
