The Pioneer AVIC-F700BT car stereo combines a multitude of functional entertainment capabilities with advanced navigation features that fit and expand the lifestyle of today's driver. The highly sophisticated in-dash navigation systems enable users to link and control their personal devices through optional accessories. Apple iPod connectivity, Bluetooth, MSN Direct, HD radio, XM and SIRIUS Satellite Radio, single CD, DVD video playback and compressed audio and video playback through USB and SD memory devices are among the numerous capabilities. Additionally, the unit offers an advanced conversational voice recognition system for hands-free dialing of compatible Bluetooth enabled cell phones and control of an entire music collection on an iPod player.BRBR It also includes a USB interface for quick connection to iPod music players, portable media players and USB memory device. For extra convenience, SD memory filled with additional Points of Interest information or compressed audio and video, slides directly into the SD card slot located in front of each unit. Excellent product and service from 6Ave. The unit came with 2.0 firmware update already installed and have not had any issues with it. Looks awesome and performs great! 6Ave has the best customer service! Their price adjustment policy has already saved me about $80 on this product.
 Good GPS-poor voice command December 2, 2008

Similar to other reviewers-firmware fixes most problems except the voice prompt command. It does not recognize your command and keeps requesting repeat of your voice command and then turns itself off. Secondly the AM/FM reception is about 70% of the factory unit when going into a barrier locations like hills, or low reception area. Overall, it is a good value if you purchase the unit online at a dicounted price.

I installed this indash navi almost 2 months ago. It works good and every thing is OK. The Ipod cable is a must although it takes the unit around 5 minutes to play from the ipod. br / br /The navigation system is not very hard to get used to it but still it's not like the easy user frindly interface of GARMIN.

Pioneer released version "2.0" of the firmware tonight and it addresses: br /- Showing blank backgrounds on the map's upper left and right of the screen br /- iPod connection dropping out br /- better BlueTooth connectivity br /and br /- MUCH fast startup time (like 40% increase) br / br /This update turns this unit from a "would not recommend" to a "would totally recommend"

I don't have a review of this product, yet, I have a question regarding Onstar service. I plan on installing this item in my 08 GMC Sierra p/u but my question is, will it interfere with the OnStar service. I understand OnStar uses the radio to operate and I haven't yet read or have been told if this radio works in concert with OnStar. Can anybody help me with this, or am I worried about nothing? Thanks
