A positive surprise August 8, 2010 Beverly A. Roark (Pacifica, Ca) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased these, a little reluctantly, because the width is not the same as standard movie dvd cases. The manufacturer's claim that these serve the same purpose as the standard cases, but in a smaller space, is a valid one. Am I happy with my purchase? This is the SECOND pack that I have bought.
Verbatim storage cases do the job! May 18, 2010 B. G. Dartmouth 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These DVD storage cases are very durable. The ability to store each DVD inside a closable, plastic case is a nice safety feature, and it keeps the DVD's secure from dust and sticky fingers! The only limitation is that the "spine" is very thin and harder to label (but it can be done :)
At Last, A Good, Inexpensive DVD Thin Case April 1, 2010 R. Schuster (Wisconsin) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have to say that the Verbatim DVD Thincases are what I've been looking for for some time. Not only are they inexpensive, they have a quality, thick plastic insert cover that holds up to frequent use.
Truly wonderful February 10, 2010 David B. Klenofsky 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are the real deal...I bought some of these from SAMs club and they were complete knock-offs. These are sturdy, have high quality plastic covers for inserts and actually close properly
Verbatim Trim (slim) DVD Cases - Much Better Now (2010) January 9, 2010 John D. Hillmer (Waukesha, WI USA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I bought 2 boxes of these Verbatim DVD Video Trimcases (50pk, Black) - so, 100 DVD thin (trim) cases back in 2009, and they were OK. The other reviewer found many of them broke recently - but all of mine were OK when I got them. I will say, the Verbatims were much better than some bulk no-name cases that looked the same, but came in bulk from some other online source that I had also used 2 years ago. The Verbatim's clear plastic was better than the bulk no-named ones. But, 3 years ago I had found some of these cases from Memorex, and the Memorex ones were the best at that time. I can not find black Memorex thin DVD cases now, and I hated the no-named bulk ones, so the Verbatims were pretty good.
HOWEVER, I just got another 50 of these in December 2009, and wow, they are MUCH better than the prior ones, and they are even better than the Memorex ones I had years ago.
The DVD button that holds the DVD is nice. The clear plastic is really thick and study. This gives a great first impression. I'm ordering another 50 right now as they are now the best I've seen.
The unfortunate aspect of these, is that so far, I've not found a good total price for them. Most of the online places want about as much for shipping and handling as they do for the cases, and I've not found a place that will provide free shipping if I spend enough with them. Amazon, if you are reading this, please cut a deal with one of the suppliers for these. In 2010, as far as I have found, there is no better for large quantities of black thin (trim) DVD cases.
