You get what you pay for... November 28, 2008 I.M. Smart (Tohonopah, AZ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First, the driver was difficult to install. Second, I used the provided software and the image captured from my Sony Handycam (analog) was only a blurry still image (system requirements met). Finally, it went thud into the waste basket!
MAC? November 26, 2008 secret agent (new york) hey does anyone know if this works with Mac computers? br /i def do not want to buy something that will not be compatible. br /plz respond
Very cheap and works great! October 30, 2008 Johnny R. Dixon (Ohio) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great product! It does what it supposed to at a fraction of the price of other companies. I am recording videos from my Xbox 360 for YouTube and uploading as I type this review. I will be converting my old home movies and such to DVD as well with it the quality is great. You don't really have to use the software on the CD for drivers or capture. As with the drivers you may want to look for latest ones for best quality. br / br /I only had one issue with it and that was the audio. As with many others i have read and saw with it. It gave a static or crackling in the audio capture portion. Can be fixed easily buy updating or downloading the newest drivers and install from there. br / br /Other than that the software is easy. The unit itself is easy. The quality is what is should. You don't need to buy the 50-150 worth of capture devices. Unless you like spending more for the brand name.
Ok October 23, 2008 Master Kush (Modesto, Ca USA) It was good for copying family video to digital, but would recommend spending more if you want great quality videos.
Great for the $ October 20, 2008 Tyler K. 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Very good for the money. There is such low lag between the video preview window and the source of capture you can actually play a video game on your computer by using this. the image quality is by no wear near HD but it is very good for the $15you will pay. audio is not bad but im not an audio specialist so i cant say its 100% clear. Youtube "play console on laptop" if you want to see how i play my xbox on my laptop using this.
