Product Description SPECO TECH CVC-122PH CONICAL PINHOLE BULLET CAMERAS
Amazon.com Product Review The CSI/SPECO CVC-122PH B/W Conical Pinhole Bullet Camera is an extremely simple and discreet video surveillance camera. Designed with both a miniature size and a conical shape, this bullet camera is both easy to conceal and perfect for use with thicker materials such as ceiling tiles or sheet rock. This camera not only provides high-quality images at high-resolutions with excellent light sensitivity, but does so in a completely hidden-from-view fashion. Easy to install, the CVC-122PH is designed for primarily indoor use, but can be used in well-protected outdoor environments, and is perfect for secret surveillance at home, childcare, school or a small businesses.P This camera utilizes a 0.33-inch black-and-white CCD (charge-coupled device) sensor, with a resolution of 512-by-492 pixels or 420 TVL (TV lines). The CVC-122PH includes a 4.3-millimeter pinhole lens that allows the camera to view through a 1/16th-of-an-inch hole. Additionally, this camera lens can receive a picture down to a minimum illumination of 0.05 Lux, and has a better-than 48 dB S/N (signal to noise) ratio. The unit's electronic shutter, with an exposure time ranging from 1/60 to 1/100,000 of a second, helps ensure an even higher picture quality. Powered via a 12-volt external DC power supply (included), it can operate in temperatures from -20 to 122-degrees Fahrenheit, and should never be aimed at the sun or other extremely bright light sources.P bTechnical Features:/b ul liSensitivity: down to 0.05 Lux liS/N ratio: more than 48 dB liFrame rate: up to 30 frames per second liResolution: up to 512 by 492 pixels or 420 TVL liOperating temperature: -20 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit liDimensions: approximately 1 x 2.25 x 1 inches (W x D x H) /ul For the ultra-discreet surveillance, the CSI/SPECO CVC-122PH provides you with a reliable, easy-to-use and high-quality camera that can complement most any monitoring system. Quick and easy to install, this incredibly compact camera comes completely assembled and ready to use, and is dependable even in very low-light conditions. Users should note, however, that the CCD sensor may become permanently damaged if exposed to long hours of direct sunlight or halogen light.P bAbout Surveillance Camera Technical Features/bbr bLux rating/b is the measurement used to indicate how sensitive a camera is to light, and stands for the level of light reflected off a piece of paper by a candle from one meter away. Thus a sensitivity of three Lux would mean a camera could generate an acceptable picture of a piece-of-paper-sized object that was illuminated by the equivalent of three candles from one meter away. The lower the Lux level, the better the camera's ability to work in low-light conditions. The camera's bresolution/b should be greater than or equal to the resolution supported by the system's recorder or monitor. The bS/N/b, or bsignal to noise ratio/b, is an important measure of a camera's quality. A poor camera, low-light conditions or poor wiring causes "noise" which consumes processing power and disk space. A camera with a wide bdynamic range/b is ideal, especially for recording areas in which both indoor and outdoor light are present. bCCD (charge-coupled device) sensors/b provide high-quality images that are less susceptible to noise. bCMOS (complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor) sensors/b offer less image quality, but are usually more cost-effective and energy efficient.P bWhat's in the Box/bbr CVC-122PH camera, power supply, mounting hardware, instructions, and warranty.
