This product is the right solution for garage door openers. Overall, to open a garage door, you don't need anything else besides a "switch" and this is a wireless switch. br /Fair pricing for the product, and it works very well. Easy to install and configure codes for the remote. Great product, I recommend.

If your door opener can be controlled with a contact closure - and most can - you are in business. Easy to set up and install. The second button the remote can be set up to control a light or a second door (with additional hardware). the remote takes an unusual A23 battery - but both Amazon and Wal-mart sell it for less than a dollar so no problem.

My wifes car has a Home-Link feature that allows you to open your garage door. Problem was our garage door opener was not compatible. This unit was the answer, it only took 5 minutes to install as an auxiliary opener and I programmed the Home-link faster than that. Works like a charm. The only complaint is that you need to be closer to the door now than before. This could be the Home-Link units fault though, can't tell.

When your remote quits, this product replaces it at minimal cost. It is easy to install and works as advertised. Very pleased with this purchase.
