4K color that’ll give you chills

Spectacular color and clarity is only the beginning for this 4K, HDR-enabled TV. Built-in software gives you blacker blacks and whiter whites. You’re immersed in crisp sound (thanks to dbx-tv) from the TV speakers. Even fast action sequences are crisp and smooth. It all adds up to big-screen thrills.

HDR-Enabled

Sharp Television’s HDR capabilities expand contrast and enhance detail significantly. Bright parts of images get much brighter and blacks become richer and more detailed, resulting in more real, white-knuckle, in-home viewing.

Built-in Apps

This TV is equipped with built-in apps for Netflix, Vudu, Pandora, Facebook and more. Connect easily to your home network so you can start streaming content right away. Get personalized recommendations, enjoy console-style gaming, and browse the web from your couch.

AquoMotion

With a 4K picture that’s 4 times the resolution of HD, you’ll see TV come to vivid life. AquoMotion and High Dynamic Range processing ensure that images radiate with lush color and unmatched detail.

1 review for Sharp LC-65N7000U 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV

  1. Rated 5 out of 5

I actually acquired this at a nearby electronics store (but it was a huge chain; BB). This tv was for sale for less than the MSRP so I walked home with it for under $750 including tax. I desired to buy this from Amazon online but evidently it’s extremely new and was just released. There are a lot of features and the picture is beautiful!

I was looking to purchase a 55″ LG HDR television or a 50″ Samsung (expensive) but this picture quality was on par with the Sammy and way a lot better than the LG. The LG I read, technically has the capacity to show 4K but as a result of RGBW pixel setup, it is not necessarily real resolution. This is RED-GREEN-BLUE which can display the naitive resolution 4K but costly 8 Bit screen from what I am reading.

This may have HDR (HDR 10) but because it is 8 Bit, this difference will not be as great as when it is a 10 bit panel. The Sammy and LG are 8 bit as well from the stats I read (hard to find at the moment).

Additionally, the “Premium HDR” from LG ELECTRONICS and Samsung on their budget models are not great however they do support the most popular standard at the moment. Just so you know, Dolby Vision is one other and beautiful but you have to buy at least the Vizio P series to get that. Also, 99% of the time a TV will not get a software upgrade to get Dolby Eyesight as it is certified and requires a nick from what I read.
